Located in the Engadin valley, the Swiss National Park is one of the oldest nature reserves in the Alps. We will make our way through its valleys surrounded by imposing snow-capped mountains in search of beautiful views and animals to photograph, such as ibexes, chamois and golden eagles.
Val Roseg is a high mountain valley located in the heart of the Engadin. It is crossed by the Ova di Roseg stream. Depending on snow conditions, it can be crossed on foot or using snowshoes, starting on foot from the village of Pontresina, located over 1700 meters above sea level. A wild place where willow tits, crested tits and coal tits are particularly common, along with wood nuthatches and squirrels. While less frequent, grey-headed woodpeckers, bullfinches, and nutcrackers are also easy to spot. A fantastic place for lovers of wildlife photography!
